The Service uses third-party AI technologies (Google Gemini and OpenAI) to process your documents. Results are provided "as-is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use our Service, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- A secure password (minimum 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, and digit requirements)
- Optionally, a display name
You may also register using Google or Microsoft OAuth authentication.
3.2 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Providing accurate and current information
3.3 Free Credits
New users receive 5 free credits upon registration. These credits are provided as a courtesy and may be revoked if we detect abuse or violation of these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or violates any laws
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties
- Upload malicious software, viruses, or code designed to disrupt the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our Service
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
- Use the Service to process documents for commercial purposes without appropriate licensing (if applicable)
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service

5. Service Tiers and Credits
5.1 Service Tiers
We offer the following service tiers:
- Translation Only: 1 credit per image - Original transcription and English translation
- Full Extraction: 2 credits per image - Translation plus structured data extraction
- Priority Translation: 2 credits per image - Translation with priority queue processing
- Priority Full: 3 credits per image - Full extraction with priority queue processing
5.2 Credit System
Credits are:
- Deducted when you submit an upload for processing
- Non-transferable between accounts
- Subject to the refund policy described in Section 7
- Valid indefinitely unless your account is terminated
5.3 Credit Packages
Credit packages are available for purchase through our payment system. Prices and package sizes may change at any time. Current pricing is displayed on the Credits page.
5.4 Processing Times
Processing times vary based on:
- Service tier selected (priority tiers are processed faster)
- Current system load
- Image complexity and quality
We do not guarantee specific processing times, but priority tiers are processed before standard tiers.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.

6.2 Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards and other payment methods supported by Stripe in your region.
6.3 Currency and Pricing
All prices are displayed in the currency available in your region. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.
6.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, credits will not be added to your account. You may retry the payment or contact support for assistance.
6.5 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees imposed by your jurisdiction. Prices displayed may or may not include taxes depending on your location.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 General Policy
Credits are generally non-refundable once purchased. However, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:
7.2 Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be granted for:
- Technical Failures: If our Service experiences a technical failure that prevents you from using purchased credits for an extended period (typically 48+ hours)
- Service Errors: If our Service produces consistently unusable or incorrect results due to a system error on our part
- Duplicate Purchases: If you accidentally purchase credits multiple times due to a technical issue
- Unused Credits in Exceptional Circumstances: If you have a significant balance of unused credits due to circumstances beyond your control (e.g., account issues, service discontinuation)
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly or for an amount you did not authorize
7.3 Refund Request Process
To request a refund:

7.5 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally NOT be granted for:
- Dissatisfaction with transcription quality (results are provided "as-is")
- Change of mind after purchase
- Credits already used for processing
- Requests made more than 30 days after purchase
- Violations of these Terms resulting in account termination
7.6 EU Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have additional rights under EU consumer protection laws, including the right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days. However, if you have already used the Service (credits have been consumed), your right to withdraw may be limited. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to:
- Images you upload to our Service
- Transcription results and translations generated from your content
By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

- Share your content with third-party AI services (Google Gemini, OpenAI) as necessary to provide the Service

All rights, title, and interest in the Metryki Service, including but not limited to:
- Software, code, and technology
- Website design and user interface
- Trademarks, logos, and branding
- Documentation and materials

8.3 Third-Party AI Services

9. User Content and Responsibilities
9.1 Content Accuracy
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to upload and process the documents you submit
- Verifying the accuracy of transcription and translation results
- Using results appropriately and in compliance with applicable laws
9.2 Content Deletion
You may delete your uploaded content and results at any time through your account dashboard. Deleted content will be permanently removed from our systems within 90 days, subject to backup retention policies.
9.3 Prohibited Content
You must not upload content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains personal information of others without consent
- Is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate
10. Service Modifications and Availability

11.2 Transcription Accuracy
AI-generated transcriptions and translations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We do not guarantee:
- 100% accuracy of transcriptions or translations
- Correctness of extracted structured data
- Completeness of results
You are responsible for verifying and validating all results before using them for any purpose.
11.3 Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
- Damages resulting from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in results
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
11.4 EU Consumer Rights
